Monday she's going to the shop to get the intake tubing modified to fit the truck's engine bay and some exhaust work.

Drove the truck to the shop tonight, getting the intake tube modded, a plug made, 2.5" exhaust with a glasspack and a turndown. It might even be done tomorrow...

 

Good stuff.

 

Got the intake, the distributor plug and some of the exhaust done and decided to take it to the hookah meet, as I was leaving, I broke the tranny.

 

Smh.

 

dude i love this truck. need way more pics though. lol i had a 96 hardbody with basicly the same set up only mine had single cam pistons. i loved that truck untill some drunk dude creamed it with an f350.

Exhaust is completely done, I couldn't be happier with the way it came out. I also have the new trans in. Hopefully going up there shortly to bring her home.

 

This truck is amazing.

I bought this thing as a bucket for $800 with hopes of slowly restoring it. That was until I had a ball joint fall into pieces on me, on the ride home.

I replaced the ball joints and sold it to Joe for less than I had into it.

I am pretty glad I did too, its come a LOT farther than I thought he would bring it. But congrats man, after seeing it leave the hookah bar spinning I fell in love with 720s again <3
