Overstatement of the year. (Not saying the car and motor aren't nice though.)

Thanks for the compliments gentlemen... Like I said, not trying to make a show quality exhibit, just doing it right in my own eyes.

I have one more major purchase and that's engine management. I have a few ideas, but haven't really decided what I want. I really do like Haltech, but it seems as if no one around here likes to tune them. Everyone is an AEM bandwagon jumping whore.

Thanks again for looking as always...

it's not an overstatement, look at his builds, his motors are clean enough to eat off of, even the hardware, and he doesn't things slowly and precisely... he may not have the best engine choice in the general publics opinion, but the standard of work is exceptional.

have you considered NIStune? i wouldn't have thought of that as an option, but i had a change engine light on in the white car, remembered i still had the software and the consult port, cleared the light, set TPS, and set the parameters of the AC to kick on at 195*, cool to 185*, then cut off... amazing stuff, even martin liked it when he dyno tuned my black car.

if i stick with a nissan engine, I'm seriously considering the option of running nistune again, for it's simplicity, and ease of tuning. just a thought.

Marshall- I know Nistune is becoming more and more popular, but it lacks some features I would like to have. I want 2step/anti-lag/launch control whatever you'd like to call it for future hard drag launches. I'd also like to control the VVL switch over points through the engine management and I simple cannot do that with Nistune for this motor in an S-chassis. I would prefer to keep the amount of extra control systems to a minimum and I'd need an rpm based switch for the VVL to switch utilizing Nistune as my EMS.

Omar- Thanks for the info, however I have tried contacting Alpha via email for a price quote on EMS/tuning package and haven't received much information. We discussed a few options, but he was suppose to be figuring out what system would work best with my setup and the word has been mum for a few months.

No, I haven't contemplated it... There aren't many tuners for it, I don't want to assemble it and I honestly think Vipec, Haltech, etc have better resolution for the CAS and overall options.

So, the work continues... I finally got the car back into the garage after a significant amount of cleaning/organizing. It is extremely tight, but she's in there. If need been I'll pull the car out on the driveway to get to the passenger side. Well once it was in I pulled the fenders, hood and bumper in preparation for the welding/grinding that shall commence this long weekend. I hope to get all the unnecessary holes welded up, as long as add a few new ones for routing lines/piping/etc. Pictures!

I also recieved my surge tank fuel system in the mail this evening. I purchased it from TougeFactory. Great craftsmenship. I have the tank mounted in the trunk already. I need to trim some of the interior slightly, but it'll look nice completed. I'll also have to remount my battery, but I plan on welding a custom stand/bracket for it to be mounted in the dead center of the strut towers, up against the bulkhead. More pictures...

Once again and as always, thanks for looking!
