I still think it'd be simpler to leave the roof, and waterproof less stuff
Bonus points for things like welded aluminum bucket seats, up to date rated harnesses, and suspension that acutally works, not just ooohhh its stiff !

but for real, torgdor
if you cut the car in half, and you stripped it all the way out. welded the doors shut. fabricated a high quality cage that not only protects in the off chance you roll over, but also highly reinforces the now, even more weak chassis, welded it all together with skill, paying attention to detail as you went, doing extra things like tying in the engine bay and front suspension with the cage, all the way back to the rear suspension, truck bed lined the interior, water proofing any required electronics, using removable drain plugs, And really built the car to be a track car, then no one would really be ragging your nuts about it.
it isn't so much that we hate your idea, or concept of whatever you want to call it, we just hate how you are doing it exactly the wrong way.

When do I get to start taking bets that this thing will never move under it's own power and eventually wind up in the hands of Jason Sink?
