550whp VQ35 turbo powered 06 Sentra Spec-V
550whp VQ35 turbo powered 06 Sentra Spec-V
We are finally building a FWD VQ35DE powered Sentra Spec-V. We have previously finished 3 different Sentra VQ's but we did not build the entire cars. That is not the case here. This is our build from start to finish. It is a fully built VQ35DE. 8.8:1 compression pistons, Rods, MLS gaskets, ARP head studs, JWT cams, springs, retainers, and a custom made (by us) turbo kit. We are using the Osiris ROM editorto tune with and this car WILL MAKE 550whp+.
Here are the pics of the build:
The stock QR25DE in the 06 Nissan Sentra Spec-V
After pulling the stock engine, ready for some real power
The new engine is an 06 Nissan Maxima VQ35DE. We are going to pull it apart and build it with forged internals, metal head gaskets, ARP head studs and main studs, and cams, springs, and retainers.
The Supertech 8.8:1 pistons, Eagle rods, ARP head and main studs, JWT cams, springs, and retainers
The bare block ready for building. Bored .20 over
The assembled block! We also polished the timing covers.
First install. It is just sitting in there. We still have to fabricate the mounts
VQ35 installed
Here is the VQ35 installed. We are making the custom mounts now and then on to making the turbo piping...
Here is the front header and part of the collector to the turbo
Here is the back header and part of the collector to the turbo
Here is a good look at the lower collector going to the turbo
I will add pics as the job progresses.

It was here about a year ago. We are finally moving forward with the build and it is progressing quickly. We will be adding lots of pics in the upcoming week or two as it gets finished.
