Default 98 240sx with S15 swap

1998 240sx Majestic Black ( Mercedes color )
I am not 100% on the actual color. It has hints of blue and purple in it which I personally have never seen in a Mercedes black but its the color I was told it was painted.

Here`s a list of stuff on the car
Sr20det from a 2001 Silvia s15 ( Solid compression, under 50k miles )
S15 Enthalpy tuned ECU
**A/c and p/s works**
5 speed transmission from a S14 SR20
Vlsd rear with 4.089 rear gear
Garrett T28r dual BB turbo
3inch turbo back exhaust
Large Front mount intercooler w/ 2.5in aluminum piping
Z32 MAF w/ 3in intake pipe.
Greddy blow off valve
Walbro 255 high flow fuel pump (rewired)
Aluminum radiator with dual 12in electric fans
Stage 2 Exedy pressure plate and clutch
NISMO light weight flywheel
BC Racing fully adjustable suspension with front camber plates
Adjustable Rear upper control arms
Adjustable rear Toe Arms
Energy Suspension rear Differential bushings
Drop Engineering sub frame collars
Front strut tower bar
XXR 522 wheels 19×10 rear 19×9 front
275/30/19 rear 235/35/19 front ( tires have low miles )
Nrg quick release with lock for steering wheel
Bride steering wheel
Drill n sloted rotors all 4
Stainless steel brake line
Hawk brake pads
Brake booster from a auto car ( not sure why )
Relocated battery in the trunk
HID 6000k headlights
HID 3000k fog lights
LED Dash and HVAC lights ( red )
LED dome light ( white )
Apex Turbo timer
AEM digital wide band
Boost gauge.

This will be mostly a weekend street car that I will take to the track from time to time.
I have some reading up on these cars to do before I decide what i`m going to do next to it.
Probably take it to the dyno and see where its at as of now and also to see if the wideband is acurate.

I`m not really digging the wheels. To big for me. I may sell them and get 17`s.

Welcome, 18's generally look better than either 17/19's on the S14. They have rather large wheel wells. Car looks decent enough. I'd recommend a tune to make sure everything is safe. Nissan's are a little more picky than DSM's.

Next time post this in the lounge area. Unless you plan on making this a build thread...

I do plan to update what I do to the car as I do it. But if the lounge is a better place for this it can be moved with out hurting my feelings.

Could you by chance reccomend someone local that can tune these?

The only thing considered local would be in Tampa. Do a search on Enthalpy ROM tuning. He is local to Tampa and can do a custom tune for your car at the shop rather than sending out an OTS tune for your setup. I believe he works out of Z-Fever.

Is that Scott with the red 180sx from many years ago?
Does Z-fever have a dyno?

Scott sold the company to Martin... I'm not sure if they have a dyno or not to be honest.

Martin owns enthalpy, has for quite some time now.

They do have a dyno at the shop.

Martin won't let you down either. He's the "go-to-guy" when it comes to the s-chassis.

So far I have been just going over the car confirming what it does have according to last owner.
I am glad to say it does have a LSD rear and does have the BB T28 turbo.
Next up is taking it to the dyno Wednesday to get a baseline and see where its at right now.

Did some maintenance to the car today. The positive connector to the battery was ratty looking. The relocate to the trunk wasn't done that great. Was seeing lower that normal voltage on the gauge. So i cut the cable down a inch and hooked it properly to a fresh connector. Voltage reads 13.5-13.6 now when running instead of low 12`s.
Also did a fuel pump rewire which raised the voltage at the pump a volt or so. Last put a new fuel filter on.
Car now reads about 13.2 a/f on the wideband at WOT instead of the high 14`s it was seeing. But its still to lean.
Also tossed some fresh plugs in it.

Next up is a meth injection set up.

Pulled the pump today. It does not have a walbro. Has a pump with Carter written on it and a number that turns up nothing in a search. It must be some oem replacement so I`m off to Z-Fever for a walbro today.
