online wheel buying guide for the S13/S14 novice.

1) if the site doesn't allow you shop by wheel size (diameter, width, bolt pattern and offset/back space) then leave the site! I guarantee their prices will be high anyway!

2) If the offset isn't between 0mm and 25mm forget about it, its for a front wheel drive car.

your bolt patter is 4x4.5(114.7) or 5x4.5(114.7)

save starting point for stock 240s, no spacers no fender modification just bolt on.
any diameter by 7" width should be 0mm offset/ 4" back space
any diameter by 8" width should be 13mm offset/ 5" back space
any diameter by 9" width should be 25mm offset/ 6" back space
you should be with in a few mm of these offsets for these widths.

someone should post that site where you can visually make rim size and tire size to see how it looks

Just a few examples. My corolla's fitment will be up in a month or so. I can then show everyone what fitment is. These cars are okay. For real fitment visit Mike Ranlet at S&R performance.

ok, I'll probably get flaimed for this, but oh well. I've read this thread and 4 or 5 other rim/offset threads and I'm just not grasping it. So if some one could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for some wheels for an s13 coupe. would like 17x7.5 in the front and 17x9 in the rear. Im not looking to roll my fenders or anything like that and i'll probably only be running tein s-techs for awhile. I just want something with a nice lip in the rear and smaller lip in the front. so what offsets would be recommended and how would i make sure to have a bigger lip on the rear?
