so a 91 300zx is a bad car?
generally heavier vehicles are less desired for drifting. the platform is flat enough to do so.
but, the drift mentality, in its truest sense, is to do what works best with least work and money.
it is for that reason the S13 platform is chosen over most in the US. It is very reliable, the stock KA has enough torque, its light, parts are cheap, chasis are cheap, you can find parts in cophers, etc. So if u bend or break something....or totally destroy the chasis, its easy to swap parts from doner to new car, etc. Z32 is much harder to work on.
Regardless it can still be done. Ive seen a 87 Supra Turbo be drifted extremely well with nothing more done than cut springs. It mainly depends on the drivers skill. If you are young, without many $$$'s then S13 will be the better all around platform.
Whatever you chose be safe where u practice and take it slow.
