has anyone noticed the huge amount of junk that is around these days

hondas for one, are junk ha and so are ka24de's
they are over stroked so what do you do with them
cam them and boost them then you end up with pretty much
a stock sr20 225, and maybe 50 more foot pounds
my point is that you still run into the problam that honda
has being that you have to work around the computer

my friend has a 1.8 honda he put turbo on it and he asks me
why he has this drivabillity problem ha and yet he is unwilling
to do anything about it his DLC has the power wire ripped out
of it so he won't look at computer data, he spent maybe .50 cents on a check valve, and i'm like go buy some more of them
it's such a cheap fix, my car was stolen a while back
so i helped him turbo his car for fun

he blew it up so i tore off the head and he was like i don't know where all that stuff goes. i had all the bolts put in a box, all the hardware wraped up and put in boxes and made a list for him
6 months later he still owes me 500 for the t3t4 bb i hooked him up with it's been siting out side on the down pipe for 6 months
uncovered so i come back to TN and we go get a couple of motors
throw one in and it's running like crap switch out the ecu
and it's fixed him and a industrial mechanic just start trying different things throwing this and that at it.

it runs fine for a few days then he calls me and is like hey it's doing it again and i'm like hey where were you the other day
he said he would ride up to the yard to pick up a 96 240 SE that
was recked in the rear quarter, anyway whatever

slack jawed yokles, thats just not the right way to do things
it's more complex than just driving the shit out of it and it's more than just spending money you can either learn how to do it
and do it well or it's just crap, i mean diagnosis wow you're car is doing something weird, that just means you have to throw conventional thought out the door and dig deeper how many technicians are there in the world if there is something wrong with a car then there is a procedure or system that can lead you to the answer but, hey who want's to do that let's just drive the shit out of it

I swear i'm going to start charging 20 per hour for help with my friends cars anyway so i got a 95 240 black on black four lug
for 400 bucks wrecked in the front, then i got a 96 se five lug
with a good front end shipped for 800, so now i have 2 ka24de's
which is the only thing worse than haveing one of them
but the 95 240 has a abs/lsd option yeah
so what i'm going to do is put the se wheels and hubs on
drill off the 96 front and weld it to the 95
thats how it's done the spot welds all in the unibody of the
car is what hold the structure together
hopefully there will be time to weld up some of the seams
like in the option videos ha does anyone know where the 240 unibody flexs the most,

by now you're like why am i reading this crap
most of these forums are all short and sweet
i tell you what give me 1400 dollars and you can come get both the cars thats what i have in them plus the 10 hours i have in drilling out the 95 frount structure and in another 40 hours of labor the 95 will be complete and more exspencive ha
a few weeks an then i'll put a he tein set up on it
then a turbo engine, not the shade tree turbo ha
i was planing a rb26dett but then i'd have no money left to
put that power to the ground you never know though
so what is the point, people are full of shit
if you really want to fix something then you have
to put the effort into learning how to do it
then put the money into real tools to use
and then commit youself to getting technical
it took me six years to become a master certified auto technician
two years to get an associate degree in auto diesel racing tech
roughly 600,000 pages of infomation to do this an when i talk to people now back home they are still on the same level
still trying to prove they're theorys to me, i got a job at honda
ah ehh it's easy, but honda is crap ha, so i got a grant to go to BMW step training, now i just need to get the 240 up
to drive out of here and away from honda,
do you need all this just to work on cars
doubtful but ask youself if you are prepared to take things up a level at 1000 rpm your engine spins over 16 times a second
and in that second it fires eight times that means each quarter second it fires twice, and you are atempting to figure this out
much less 7000 rpm, now factor in load variations, pressures, and of coarse production engineering we made 300,000 engines how many of them are just the same, it's more like how many are acceptably different. most of the specs i look up at work are in a threshold from this point to that point.
