I agree with Rob Jesse......in no way should you blame yourself in any respect to this matter. In regards to a "respectable" shop, one should not have to even think to "de-tune" or change any of its settings in case fucksticks decide to have a little fun at your expense. Sure it's nice if you remember to just in case....but that's beside the point. They have no right to take the car out for some joyride and in turn....break shit.
I'd give them all the hell they deserve....there's a reason why the shop owner is curtailing to you Jesse...it's cause he knows you could do lots of damage to him business wise if you decided to take that route.
