Question Stock Location Full-Race Manifold vs Top Mount Full-Race Manifold

Word on the street is that Full-Race is testing a stock location Full-Race manifold for at least RWD SR's. What I was looking to find out is what is the benefit of running a top mount aftermarket manifold vs a aftermarket bottom mount, in this case a high quailty unit such as the Full-Race manifold.

Also, I believe you cannot run a/c with a top mount Full-Race unit with stock lines? I read this somewhere on FA along time ago but wasnt sure.

The benefit of running a top mount manifold puts your turbo on the top. on the contrary, a bottom mount manifold will put your turbo on the bottom.

Didn’t some people have clearance problems with bottom mount manifolds and T3 turbos?

Ahh yes....the great one speaks

So the only benefit of running a top mount is that it puts the turbo on top...then why bother making a stock location manifold for the same motor?

I would think that maybe less fabrication would be involved now that I think about it.

Not melting the brake master, however it will put the fuild in overheating temps which will render yoru brakes usless. and if your turbo is that hot chances are your not going to slow. And will need your brakes.
