Sorry i dont have more pictures of me actually building up the motor. and for the record its not "built". im using all stock internals. i didnt feel i needed anything more for my power goals.

heres about halfway through after cleaning, painting, and changing out most of the gaskets.



and with the newly powdercoated and clear coated valve cover.
this valve cover im going to put on my current DD, not on this motor.

where did you get that manifold?

 

so you remachined everything, and installed (new?) factory spec internals? also, do you live in clearwater area?

 

bought it from a guy on ka-t.org. its the xo2 racing one from ebay or w/e.

 

the motor had pretty low miles on it and all of the inernals looked to be in excellent shape. i know of course you can't truely tell their condition wihtout using special tool ans machines. but i did not get anything machined except for the her resurfaced. i got all new bearingsrings and gaskets while keeping the original stock internals.

i really did not have the money to do any machining. all of that kind of work is going into the next build i do later on when i have a steady career.

oh and no, im not in clearwater. im just north in new port richey. (pasco county)
