Well folks its that time again. There hasnt been a whole lot of S-owners organizing anything in a while but ive been talking to a couple owners, and this is what I have. Im open to opnions, ideas, etc.

Choice 2:
We meet up at best buy on dale mabry right off I275 at 12:30
We meet, greet and get on dale mabry and head toward Hillsborough ave head to alopez park.
seerve bbq at 2:00ish, talk, exchange parts if you have em, slide down slides, push kids out of swings, take sweet park photos ect.
part ways round 3-4

any help with food, or support with organizing the event will be cool. Thanks guys.

Great idea and location, but bad day. The next day, Sept 9th, is the next JDM Dreams meet. Maybe try a week after or so??

 

Joe, I already included that. But why would that be such a bad idea?

 

Honestly man, I am bout ready to give up on the Nissan/S-Chassis meets. Reasoning being the fact the past few have all been flops, the re-dos have been flops and it jus seems like they are never that much fun.

The reason that a BBQ the day before a BBQ is a bad idea is, well, I don't know how many days in a row people like having BBQ and it means your whole weekend is spent in a park of some sort. Granted this is not the WORST way to spend a weekend, but it's just a lot for one weekend.

At this point in time, I will say I pass on the event, but I am a sucker for peer pressure so we'll see how many of my people are down...

 

I agree with McLovin, there are worse ways to spend a weekend. However, I don't have that much free time to spend both days at BBQ and parking in a lot somewhere. I have committed to go to the JDM Dreams meet so I would have to pass on this date.

As I stated though. I like the idea of Al Lopez park. Especially if we met on the Causeway first and then rolled over there past I-plaza and up Dale

I think we could set something up if it wasn't on the same weekend as jdm dreams.If you wanted a smaller meet I'm sure we could get like ten 240s around this area to come out??
