Dented Frame Rails From Unproper Jacking
They make frame reinforcement bars for mustangs and other muscle cars they also used to make them in jdm land for silvias and skylines. I think cusco or similar company made frame rail braces. You really dont need it on a unibody though.
I would disagree. I dont know about 240s, but every mustang owner swears how there is substantial difference in how the cars feel and its a unibody as well. I wish I could find some other pics, but some of the owners have not only did the subframe area, but they ran a piece of metal stock down the body seam then triangulated it with more metal to the subframe.

I know it makes a differnce on a mustang. Last time I was at S&R a durdan was welding a set on a SN95 GT. I would think being live axles has sosmething to do with that also and the fact the motors actually produce TQ.
From my experience 240's done need them. The rear subframe dosnt tie into it, and the front engine crossmember ties into the strongest part of the rails. If anything an X brace would be the most benificial but even thats not needed.

full on track cars can take a lot more liberties with shit than a street car. bell bottom kits and crazy wheel fitment look cool sliding on a track, but when i want to drive to taco bus, im going to ruin all of that shit. so it just doesnt work for me. function over fashion.

I would say that, under drag launches watching the way 240s twist. It would be beneficial, I know for sure it would be on a fc. And can almost guarantee it on a 240 also. With what most people use their 240s for on the other hand, I see no need in it.
