Got sun spots on the hood and front driver side quarter panel, minor scrape on rear driver side door, and a decent sized scrape on the driver side rear bumper, just seeing if i could get a rough estimate on what it would cost to fix these and touch it up and possibly a complete repaint... My budget isn't too high but I dont want something that'll fade in 12-16 months.

I think youre definitely looking at a repaint. Any kind of "touch-up" will only make things worse.. youre in the ballpark of $2500 the whole car's got to be stripped and re-painted and if youre looking for something that lasts more than 12 months, that where you will be at.
What im trying to ask basically is it going to look like S*** or will it be decent but just not "exceptional"
Its all about what youre looking for. Maaco does 'great' work if youre looking for a quick fix. It all depends on the quality youre looking for.

Yeah that whole "you get what you pay for" is definitely true with paint and stuff, I just want something that'll last a bit, looks decent, not a show car finish or anything close - just something to get by with, without having huge sun spots/scrapes and stuff on it.
you do not know the "hassles" involved in painting a car like this. you HAVE to sand past all of that crap. If its sanded over and painted over, you will have worse nightmares than what you currently have. If I did it, it would deff be in the ballpark of 2500-3000 to be done right and not a macco econo paintjob. If you are considering to go macco route, take my advice and just drive it as it is......

Your car looks to be right around an 04 if im not mistaken. With that kind of deterioration trying to panel match is asking for trouble. Youve got trouble spots on the front & rear and id bet your roof is in simial condition. I understand the cost effectiveness of doing only certain panels, but if youre looking to keep the car long term spending the money now and fixing it right. Will save you money from having to fix things that will go wrong later on. As far as, color match and durability is concerned.
