The picture itself isn't the most inspiring one you've posted, but the technique is good. The shadows are still in existance, and they have good detail... normally when you see people starting out with HDR they obliterate the shadows.

Looking good, keep up the good work. My only suggestion is to work on composition, there's too much dead space on the right/upper portion of the image IMO.

What does your underexposed photo look like? The HDR seems a little bright to me but that's just my opinion. It still looks really good, especially for your first time.

+1.. the image itself looks good for the first attempt.. lil brighter than usual but still good

feel free to post up all the images you used for us to see what you worked with to give you some pointers



but overall on the first atempt.. nicely done
