^ Mars, looks to be be correct. I just googled Pepsi 400 & the night shots only showed what looked to be the Nextel\Sprint tower lit really well... the rest of the stands & the back straight didn't look well lit at all...
Looks like your best bet for shots will be from the platform behind the pits.

i had some time to kill b4 going to winghouse the other day and i talked to a guy a wolf camera he said either the canon 70-200 f2.8 or the sigma 70-200 2.8.... i just picked up a used 70-300 4-5.6 is usm lens that and the whole race isn't run at night it does start when there is still some light out so i figure most the pics i get will be before the race/ the first part of it

Have fun... I was just there this year for the Daytona 200. The sound of the bikes on the banking was awesome.
I can only imagine what all those cars close together must sound like...
