I am hearing any of my choices are good and perfect for any job I might want it for...In my skill and pocket set...LOL! Plus... I dont plan on a full photo shoot n stuff... Just a lil nice gadget toy at tap when needed to still produce no quality pics and etc... You say the sd1000 the sd1100 is this yrs. model which get great review along with the sd850... The sd850 reviews say... All you need in a point n shoot cam... and def hi mp...Proly even OVERKILL at 10mp for me...LOL! BUT ITS MINE! ALL MINE!!!! lol! =) ... No for real... The SD11000 for affortability purpose and great quality or a lil more with the sd850 is... I been sleepless nights regarding this cam crap!!!! LOL! Thanks Chris!

Thanks to all!!! I end up purchasing the CANON SD850 IS... It seems to be a awesome lil camera with all the bells and whistles I want and need...But proly never use...LOL!
Btw... I ended up getting for a steal!!! w/a 2gb memory card for $150.00 Brand New NIB!!!!

^ U KNOW IT!!! NIB with card!!! SHIPPED! Ppl where tryn to lo-ball this auction...The last min I got on and just entered my $200.00 reserve bid...and wa-la!!! In sec ppl were then tryn to bid...But time ran out!... I was shocked myself! But, we'll see...PayPal protects my payment anyways...I trust and trusted on Ebay... Been doin it since 2001 or 2002 as a seller and buyer...
