thanks btuner! luckily I had a folded beach towel on the seat in preperation for that. ha
she also jumped up and sat on my toneau cover too; I said whoa! that wont hold you! I saw $1100 flash before my eyes.

Not so sure on all the zooming blur and the angle shots.

No zooming-blur, just slow shutter speed panning (1/8sec, 1/15 sec). I'm sort of tired of the standard, everything-is-tack-sharp shots that I see from every race, so I try to make the shots a bit more interesting with slow pans. Plus, I don't have a fast enough lens to make the fences invisible when it's sunny so I had to find another way of getting rid of them. The angles aren't intentional for the most part and I don't really care for them either except for the shot of the Corvette. I just found it to be more comfortable to hold the camera a certain way while panning.

btuner's and rockfreak's shots of the pits and drivers are awesome.
