C/C On My Photography Site?
I don't really know if this is allowed, I couldn't imagine why it wouldn't be - but if this somehow breaks the forum rules please delete the thread Admin.
I'm pretty new at all of this. To be honest, I purchased a D40 7 months ago, returned it and bought a D80 a few weeks later so I could use AF lenses.
In short, my photography = product of the past 6 months with no prior training.
Here is a link to my site. Mike Petrie Jr- powered by SmugMug
If you get time, please feel free to browse around and report feedback on just about anything;
- The layout of the site
- If it's easy to navigate
- Photographs in general (etc...)
I'd like other opinions, so be honest. Thanks everyone!

Page looks great. You have all of your bodies centered except your "featured clients" page. So you should center that to make them all the same. Also you may wanna try centering the table of contents above everything as appose to in the top left corner, try it see if you like it maybe to symmetrical.
id say your doing pretty good

Everyone who's posted thus has been rep'd for taking the time out to check out my site. Thanks!
You know, I never even noticed that the "featured clients" section wasn't centered? Another reason to have someone else take a look. I'll figure out the CSS for that sometime this week.
As for centering the homepage. I wanted to be a little different. I had it centered for awhile - but figured I'd leave it set left. It's a hit or miss thing really depending on the person. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey Mike, new member here, what lens are you using for the Performance/Live Band photos?

It really depends on how close I am and the venue. The band pictures you see posted on my site were simply taken with a kit lens and photoshop. I was able to BE on stage with them.
The live theatre shots were with a Nikkor 85mm 1.8.
I suggest low aperture lenses for indoor performance settings this way you can shoot without flash and use the special lights from the Source Fours, Par cans etc... on the stage.
Hope this helps!
