Default New look, maybe the 1st?

Oh yes! It is time My valve cover is done! Here's how it turned out and I couldn't ask for more

I decided to do something different and sent my Valve Cover to Lindy over at Auto Xtras (8002 Anderson Road Tampa,FL) and let him work his magic. I told him to take his time because it was a spare valve cover so I was in no rush. That and I'm in the process of putting a/c back in my car so my engine bay is a mess

Anywho, I got this done and couldn't be any happier with the outcome. Saturday is the day I'm going to do a full cleaning of the engine bay and install it so I'll post up more pics then.

Went from this:

To this:

And Then To this:

I'll get better pictures after work

Thanks Lindy!

Well its finally done!! I spent all day redoing a lot to the engine bay to bring er back to life..

- Retucked the wiring since the a/c is back in
- cleaned and resprayed the engine bay
- cleaned and resprayed motor
- cleaned up misc items and re-wired some misc wires

but here's a lil preview.. i'm gonna take more pics during the day with the other lens so they're more crisp

Nice wrap, is it gonna hold up to the heat? I can already see it not really forming to the honda writing and emblem, just curious

Not completely done yet. It'll form to everything by the time I put it on... you have no faith young padawan

As for the the heat, we think it'll be fine but there's really only 1 way to find out eh.

i was thinking the same thing. bust out that heat gun to get it formed all nice and pretty.

i would almost say use a high temp gloss over it to protect it, but that shit never works.

As I told Adam, I don't think Heat will be an issue since I use a torch to form the vinyl. I've been putting "decals" on valve covers and calipers for years with no issue. My only concern is keeping the edges sealed from oil. The Lettering and Logo will be hand cut out after a couple of days. The cover was painted with rattle can paint which I think is the reason that area dint stick right away. With can Spray you get alot of Dry spots if not done right, not providing a slick surface for the vinyl to grab on.
