I plan on going during a practice or qualifying, race will probably be to crowded to shoot well without media creds. How many holes do they have for us and are they accessible to someone without media creds on a practice day?

If you dont have a pass and a media jacket you arent going to get close to a cut out unless you do what some other guys have done in the past and shoot thru a fence thru the cut outs. I dont even know if im getting a jacket, which would be kinda pointless at that point to even go.

Being behind the fence makes you be creative. Go for it if yo have a long lens to work with.

I did it for the last 3 years, used my camera the last two times. Last year was better.

Here is a link to some, no media, just shooting over or through the cutouts. Usually works best on practice and qualifying as the "holes" arent filled with a photog with credentials.

I will be there all three days. First time shooting anything like this. Last 2 years were badass! Sucks that ALMS will not be there this year

Without looking at exif I know I had the 70-200 mounted, some might have been plus the 2x TC.
