1/30 may be slow enough to get a rotation out of the wheels, but its probably too slow to get a crisp shot in a moving car.
I'd suggest picking up a ND filter, maybe a 2x or 4x. Then go out and play with it.

I may get around to getting a project thread put together on it, but suffice to say it's a "big block" VW-style all-billet one-off boxer. Designed, machined, and built in house at our shop.

On our second full powered 1/8 mile pass we ran in the 4 fifty's. We added some injector capacity and will be back at heads up madness is this weekend.
