Default Manual Exposure Practice|pt1|

Well I went out with a buddy of mine today to gain some experience with changing ISO, Aperture, and Shutter speed.

C&C is greatly appreciated and if any of you disagree with one another take it somewhere else. I do NOT want this thread filled with drama. Leave the drama elsewhere. Thank you.

Now on to the pics.

If you say so! You wanted C&C. That was the nicest way I could have helped. If you really want me to pick at them, I will, but you will more than likely end up getting all butt hurt about it, which it seemed like you almost did already.

LOL at butt hurt.

I really dont care too much. I am very new to this and I do not see this becoming a profession to me. Just another cheap hobby that I find fun and another excuse for me to get out of the house.

Ok, that's great, but when you post up pretty basic shots and ask for C&C, you better expect for those of us who know what we're doing and know how to really properly shoot cars, to tell you that something doesn't look right.

You pictures, are horribly composed. Just saying, but go look through a magazine and see how many of the pictures in there look like yours and how you positioned the car/yourself/the locations.

The composition is just as important as the settings, if not more so. Your exposure really wasn't bad on them. The first one definitely was a little bright and soft though. What are you using, and what settings were you at?

Ok. The honest opinion is much appreciated. Im looking for more experienced opinions. How am I suppose to get better with "Those are sick shots!" comments? I need the " You should have done 'x' with your shot." comments.

LOL price isnt everything. I bet you could out due my pics. I only bought what was suggested for a camera that wouldn't need to be replaced for a while. Having no kids and making really good money for someone my age helps.

As of now I am looking forward to learning more. Within this past week alone, I have learned a great deal more than when I had just a simple "point-and-shoot" camera.

Also I just took the pic wherever my buddy parked. Tis not my Si. He just wanted to test out his Rebel Xs. Just workin with what I had at the time but I will keep the composition in mind.
