The pictures look good, however the locations are boring.

The point of the "boring" locations is to not take away too much attention from the car Keep it simple and clean

Have either of you seen automotive photography before? The background and PP is just as important as capturing the car. Even seemingly boring backgrounds can be fixed with a little PP. These just all seem plain. Don't take it as me being rude, just giving a little advice.

That's just ignorant. You've just proved you know absolutely nothing about automotive photography, so whatever point you were trying to make is no longer valid.

2. like, along with the one in post #10
4. got a little dust or something on the sensor, shown just above the building
6. railroad tracks are really distracting, they take up over half the picture
7. love this one, and i actually like where you put your signature
the rest are decent lol

irony

the background shouldnt matter (unless its really cluttered, then it just ruins the photo completely). you want the to focus to be on the subject, not something thats going to draw attention away from it. a simple background brings out the subject more

RUJI | Portfolio web site of Wynn Ruji http://www.eastonchang.com/ Go look at some real professionals before you try to act like you know anything. Notice how even the "bland" backgrounds in their portfolio have an ass ton of post processing done? I'm done with this thread, I feel like I'm trying to explain something to a brick wall.

just because someone has a certain style, like over-processing, doesnt mean thats the ONLY way to take photos of a car. those photos might appeal to the normal persons eye, but they will be distracted by most of those backgrounds and completely forget about the car. you want a background that makes the subject stand-out and look good, without drawing the attention away from it.
