its very good prosumer camera that will work well in pro situations. However if you currently own a dXXX series camera and plan on using both in the field at the same time, it will get a little confusing since the controls and menus are different.

Exactly. Not sure why they haven't produced a D700s/x yet.

But honestly, the performance they're getting out of the smaller sensors lately, you almost don't need to go FF and have to get some new lenses.

I don't think so. The ff sensor can't be beat.

agreed 100% if my 300s didn't shit on me i'd never picked up the 7k. but that being said i'd get another 7k bc i don't need the speed of the 300s



also with the FF

try to take my d3s or 35mm and you'll learn what a boot feels like even if i'm in flip flops
