I just order a Go Pro HD Hero 2 and some extra accessories..

I was looking at what I can use it for.. I think I am going to have a blast with the time lapsing photos..
I am going to be mounting this this to everything..


What video software would you recommend?

Any hints of tips or tricks?

Or, what do you all think of them?

 

I know a lot of people using Final Cut Pro. Stay away from Premiere Elements...

I LOVE my HD2. I've already dropped it pretty hard and it's super durable, and it's only $30-40 for a new case. Great photo quality however not so well in poorly lit areas, tends to blur and have poor visibility; but that's not why I bought it so it's not a big deal to me. I got it for the video and I'm very happy with the quality and features it has. Here's a picture I took at Disney World (photobucket has degraded quality slightly)I would recommend an extra battery pack tho. When shooting in 1080 battery life is only about 3hrs
