Double standard on nitrous?
i think i am going to stick with my theory and that is, you go to a race track to race, not to lose. you dont go to war without guns, same thing. cars that make 700+ HP need higher octane to achieve better combustion mixtures, if they put 93 in there to please evryone they would ruin an engine.
also if you make 700 on the bottle, the motor is built to handle it or you are a dumbass, that wipes his rear with 100 dollar bills.
blower, turbo, nitrous, alcohol, fast is fast.
we come in different colors and shapes, so does performance

no its not... thats like saying you crank the boost to the max on your turbo, then shoot 150 shot at it while on C16 and put out 650HP... but you melt a piston or lift a head while doing so... thats not worth it.
"oh yea... i laid down 650hp at the wheels... but i only did it once cuz i lifted the head" That to me isnt worth it to me. [/QUOTE
it is to me..so stfu,n?

Id rather make 500 HP anytime i want, any place i want to rather than make 700HP 15 times, At the track, on saturday nights.

if that happens to be 350 on the motor and an added 150 anytime i need it on a built motor.. then even better
nitrous is great as long as you use within your limits.. the stuff you quoted above is the exact same no matter what power adder you use.. too much boost.. or nitrous with a bad tune will kill your engine.. so you use the right amount.. and tune safely..
The way i look at it is who ever is the fastest wins,no matter how they got there. My biggest problem with nitrous is nobody wants to admit they are spraying. If you guys like nitrous so much then what's the big secret?
The only problem I ever saw with nitrous is the need to refill. I would hate to know I had the power there, but I couldn't use it all the time. The little hairdryer I got is addictive. I can't imagine not having it available when and where I want it.
