Default Nitrous Guys - I Have a Question

so i plan on purchasing nitrous for my mustang sometime after January. my question is reguarding nitrous pressure. have any of you every had a problem with the pressure being too high (without a heater) when racing, or sitting in the sun here in FL. im tossed up whether i should get the Fire & Ice heater/cooler or if i will be fine with just a heater?

I've ran a 75 wet shot for a while now on different cars. If your tanks are properly filled you shouldn't have any problems with the tank pressure getting to high. I had one shop over fill my tank and the blow out disk popped while the car was in a parking lot. They fixed the safety and properly refilled the tank for free. Other than that I've never had a problem.

when the bottle is filled it is no where near the safety point, you really don't need to worry about it. the reason i had a problems was the guy that filled it at the shop was new and trying to play like he was one of the big boys. he way way over filled the tank.

you'll be fine

1100 psi is 97 degrees i belive.......

dont quote me but i know its around there

i doubt your going to have a problem. if your psi goes over 1300 just put a damp cold rag on it

either way its not going to burst unless it goes over like 1800

im not so much worried about it bursting (can always remove it from a car) i just want to be sure it stays around 1000-1100 in staging so i dont have to piss away a bunch of nitrous purging it off. if it is always sitting above that i would rather invest the $350 into a heater/cooler to avoid having to loose nitrous purging the pressure down.

soundsl like i dont have anything to worry about either way though!

if your tank pressure is high the regulator should cut it down to the proper psi
