i've run nitrous on every VEHICLE i've had for the past 7 years. Started with the GoPed, then Pocket bikes,rc cars, super pocket bike,750cc yamaha motorcycle,35 cars, I ran a 150shot on the auto stealth stock and that thing is still running good, I ran a 100shot on my 1.5l colts. nitrous is great as long as you have a good afr and your egt's stay in a good range.

only thing i've ever really done within nitrous and maintenence on the cars are spark plugs were copper and 1 step colder, and changed every 1500-3000miles. 0 issues...

Any Honda engine can hold a nitrous shot reliably. You are all forgetting the most important part of putting any forced induction on your car. TUNING!!!!!!!! Why are you so surprised it blew up. Adding nitrous throws the air/fuel curve off, among other things just like any other forced induction. You wouldn't go out and put on a turbo kit and run 10psi and not tune it would you? The concept is the same. I know someone who has run a 150-200 shot of nitrous on an RSX-S for years. The car is well tuned and it was never had a problem.

Almost any car will respond to nitrous well, but like anything else you need to tune it. The reason people are afraid of nitrous is there hear of idiots that go and throw on an untuned shot on there car and it blows up in no time. Well duh! Nitrous is an awesome forced induction if used properly. The only downside is you have to refill that bottle ever now and then.
I'm with you, I had a 150 shot (dry shot at that) on a stock bottom end (w/rod bolts) b16 a long time ago, the car had massive toda B cams and I twisted it to 9k everytime the motor was running, all the car was used for was a track/race car, and that motor is still running today. timing/fuel is key with nitrous. If you're going to run a big dry shot, you need a big fuel system. I've been the turbo and supercharged route, I'll go back to nitrous every time.

Think that's something, take a ride in a turbo diesel, on the button with some propane...

OP (or anyone else knowledgable in the subject) how familiar are you with 300zx's? I have an n/a z32 and thinking of going a 100-125 wet shot on it. the problem with traditional nozzle systems is the intake setup. it has 2 throttle bodies and long intake runners. I have heard of people having problems with uneven distribution and the nitrous condensing/puddling in the intake before it gets into the motor causing nasty "nitrous sneezes". so most that do nitrous do direct port (which for the cost of a direct port system I could nearly do a twin turbo swap) the internals on these cars are forged stock, and its 10.5: compression. should that hold for my power goals? also for the wet system, how much fuel pressure should I need to support that size shot? any other advice?

get a nitrous plate made....it uses 1 manifold with 2 tb's right? so just get on that's like an i/m spacer. they can usually be done for around $70 w. a nozzl in each port spraying evenly.

Hi its Carter from Pete Stop motor co. I have done many direct port setups on this engine, I can put together a nice direct port kit fo your car for around $1250 and it will include fuel tuning on our Dynojet! Let me know, also can do a dual tb setup for around 900! Let me know! It would be a nice NOS kit either way! And dont forget the free dyno tuning!
Thanks,
