reason i asked is cuz im getting a good deal on a kit, dude will sell me it parted out but i dont have enough for all the parts and just want the damn thing on already.

oh anddddd do you have to remove your oil pan completly or could u just empty out your oil, dril it and then tap it ?

There is a lot more work involved other than just bolting a turbo on, and running.

You will need to have the computer re-tuned, or an aftermarket piggyback fuel controller added to address the change in air/fuel ratio that Scion did not originally program into the car.

If you are already having money issues to buy the parts needed to make the kit complete, then I highly suggest you wait until you can afford it all. Most kits are designed to allow the kit to operate correctly.

And yes you need to remove the oil pan. The shavings from drilling the pan will end up inside the oil pan, which are metal, and will end up in your motor in places they should not be.

You also might want to do a lot more research on what the kit is going to do for you. If you only have some of the puzzle, your not going to see the beauty of the finished product.
