h22sol build and boost or spray??
h22sol build and boost or spray??
ok this is gonna be a build throughout time due to money issues. i have a 93 del sol with the h22a4 non sh. what i wanna do is build it and boost it or spray depending on whats better for the motor. ive pretty much did research on what to do to the head as far as building it but on the bottom end i need some advice on pistons, and rebuild, what type of rods, anything you would know about building for boost. this is going to be my daily driver as well (for now) so its gotta be street legal. dont know to much about building and and boosting so any advice, links, pictures anything would help. as for the head i was thinking about mostly brian crower and skunk2 stuff. idc about what the cost of anything is cause ill get whatevers best.
i say...
get this
Slowboy Racing, Inc. :: Honda :: Integra :: Engine :: Rotating Assemblies :: Brian Crower :: H22 - H22A Stroker Kits :: Brian Crower H22 - H22A Stroker Kit - 2.49L PRO Series Rod Stroker Kit
+ big turbo..lol
but as with all builds they charge a mark up for gathering the parts for you..
you can get the specs & find the parts on your own for prob 1/2 to 2/3 that price
also if you can get a hold of a back issue of HCI mag from sept 2003 they do a pretty good step by step build of a 725hp h22 along with a properly beefed up trans to take that abuse..
it has enough info to show why they made certain parts choices etc.. so wouldnt be hard to make your own changes while still stayin with that general setup since its proven
say thank you!lol

idk for sure youd have to ask more specialized all motor honda guys; ) but from what ive seen 350hp is pretty easy to achieve without boost so as long as it handles the spray as well you'd be at 475 & traction will prob already be a big issue.. i just like big builds cuz its always easier to tame a build down as opposed to specing something designed for like 400hp & then trying to go back and re do it to handle another 100 ya know
