would it be cheaper for me to just do a b series swap in comparison to get the D16 healthy again? it smokes on higher rpms so i am guessing rings... but like i stated before it has been driving me all over the place for the past 6 + months. did i mention that i am getting code 27 ( whatever that means), and that i have no tach,gas,mph,or engine temp gauge ... but my fucking blinker lights and check engine light work

 

Honestly, those chains almost look like suspension limiters, so the front won't raise to high

Keep the D. You get a B16 from some where and pay over a G with trany. Then you need mounts and links, then you need Vtec wired up. Stay with the D. It would cost you less then a G to fix it!

I may be picking up a y8 head friday or a fresh rebuild d16 shortblock. as for the tire problem i still can not take the damn drivers side tire of for shit. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening?

keep the D. bro and my shit smokes at high rpms too and i have a 75 shot also with a bad tranny too and i ran low 10s at sunshine
