You're right, a mill won't add metal back to the intake manifold, however I don't think that is the problem here.

Sean is a pretty sharp guy and I don't think he would install intake gaskets that are too small for the ports on the heads. If for some reason he couldn't get the correct size gaskets, I feel he would have enough sense to trim the openings to match the heads.

It looks to me like the manifold is sitting to "high" on the heads, thus needing to be milled to lower it down and properly align the intake ports.

Unless, of course, the ports on the intake manifold are larger than the ports on the heads, which we can not tell from the angle of the picture.

I'm sure Sean will chime in and tell us what's going on.

JFWY bro, I know you got skillz!! Just had to phuck with ya. Sucks about the intake. Why did you have to run a spacer on the bottom pulley? Is the balancer different from stock, thinner? Thanks
