So, I would like to thank the owner of this vehicle for telling me that there was a COP behind me the ENTIRE time I was revving my ILLEGAL exhaust. Thank you, thank you VERY much!!! (Though, I will say, I didn't get pulled over, so I'm not too mad haha). Proven Power exhaust FTW.
JRich said that if you had a D-series in there instead of a B. you may of beaten the Slobalt.

The coupe has been back in the garage for upgrades ! Since this build thread the car has changed ownership and not many changes have happened with the car. The most notable change is that the Pro series cams were replaced with CTR camshafts. With such a clean open engine bay this car was always a great canidate for a custom turbo kit ! After a year or so with no issues it has been converted to turbocharged
On with the pics of the build !
I would like to note EVERYTHING was fabricated in house. We dont buy our products, we build them
This is trully built not bought !
So we began this project by stripping the car down and getting her naked Honestly at this point we were indecisive regarding what manifold to go with. We kicked around ramhorn, custom front facing, quick four, etc.
I made some measurements and built a merge collector and started mocking everything up on a spare gsr we had laying around.
Then after confirming clearences in the car i added additional runners
After completing the manifold we sent it out for ceramic coating for a nice clean look.
In the mean time we started on the pan and breather setup while everything was out for coating.
Welded in -10an fittings for future catch can setup.
After completion we sent the valve cover out for powdercoating, and got started on the oil pan.
We ordered a new pan from Honda and drilled and welded in a -10an steel fitting for the oil return line.
then repainted the never installed pan with new fitting
By this time the mani returned from coating and we installed to get a sneek peek of what we built from scratch !
Then installed the new Tial 38mm gate
Next we tackled my favorite (yeah right!)... oil lines. We went with nice black fittings instead of the common red and blue.
billet drain flange with black -10an fitting.
drain line built and now installed
We mounted the feed line to the frame so it doesnt damage the freshly coated valve cover and to keep the bay nice and tucked !
Now time to move on to our aluminum welding ! I started from the Proven Power ported throttle body and worked my way toward the cooler
I wanted to keep the bay clean as mentioned before so i hid the Greddy blow off valve behind the bumper
Then moved onto the hot side
bumper back on to see the new look
Quality weld pic
Time for the downpipe !
I built a simple 3" downpipe for now with no exhaust. We will have this coated and finished at a later time.
The infamous dyno pic !
Engine made 305whp SAE on 11psi ! More boost and bigger built bottom end coming soon !
Thanks for looking !
