Let's kick it off with some of our favorite clutch products for the 02-05 WRX!
ACT HD Clutch Kit:
The ACT HD Clutch kit is one of the staples in the biz. It's a moderate increase in pedal feel but it's full face disc allows for a smooth engagement. Awesome for your daily.
Clutch Masters FX100 Clutch Kit:
The Fx100 is a GREAT clutch for anyone that is looking or needing to replace their stock clutch. Little bit more pedal, little more grabbing power at a great price.
Clutch Masters FX200 Clutch Kit:
The FX200 is a great upgrade for anyone looking for a clutch kit to handle more power than stock but still offer a good engagement for a daily driver. It's carbon-kevlar disc needs a good 500 mile break in but it'll last!
Clutch Masters FX300 Clutch Kit:
The FX300 uses a proprietary kevlar segmented disc will last longer than most other disc's on the market. This kit engages smoothly, pedal pressure is moderately increased but it's a solid kit for a great daily driver build.
Clutch Masters FX400 Clutch Kit:
The FX400 is a good 6 puck, clutch kit. This kit will grab harder than most other kits, it'll chatter a little but it'll hold power and torque! It's awesome for anyone that is a real weekend warrior.
Competition Clutch Stage 2 Clutch Kit:
This is one of my favorite options for a stock replacement. It offers a carbon-kevlar disc with Comp's performance pressure plate. All of this at under $350!
Competition Clutch Stage 4 Clutch Kit:
The Comp Stage 4 Clutch Kit is one of the better 6 pucks to drive on. It's sprung 6 puck clutch kit will hold good power and great for the weekend warrior. It's a little chattery, it's grabby but performs and will deliver performance at a great price.
Competition Clutch Stage 5 Clutch Kit:
This is a big boy clutch. Very grabby, chattery but will hold real power, torque and put it all to the ground. This is awesome for a road racer or someone with a built gear box.

Fidanza 2.1 Clutch Kit:
This is Fidanza's alternative to the stock clutch. It's a sprung, reinforced hub, full face disc with Fidanza's performance pressure plate. We're talking a minimal increase in pedal pressure with the ability to hold more power than stock and retain full streetability.
Fidanza 3.2 Clutch Kit:
This is a big boy clutch for those make power and torque. It's very grabby, it will chatter a bit but it will hold up to a real race use. Not really recommended for a real street car.
Fidanza 4.3 Clutch Kit:
Fidanza's 4.3 offers a ceramic pad, 6 puck, sprung disc with their performance pressure plate. It's grabby, it's great with torque and really not bad to drive every day if you're making some power.

This is a monster clutch. We're talking unsprung, iron pad, 6 puck. It's serious and by no means recommended for a street car.If you're racing and need to hold some real torque, this is a great choice.

Spec makes a very complete product line for just about any power level and budget! Check out what we've got available from SPEC clutch.
Stage 1:
The Stage 1 kit works great as a replacement for your stock clutch. If you have basic bolt ons or just looking to upgrade a bit over stock, this is a great option.
Stage 2:
This Carbon-Kevlar Disc equipped kit will allow for great engagement with a great longevity due to the kevlar laced friction surface. Very cool for a bolt on built car that is driven daily.
Stage 2+:
The 2+ offers the drivability and engagement quality of Stage 2, but with a 15-20% higher torque capacity. The hub is double sprung with spring cover relieves for flexibility and heat treated components for strength and durability. Stage 2+ is suggested for highly modified but daily driven WRXs that will see some track time.
Stage 3:
A great sprung, 6 puck clutch kit that will hold some great torque and power without a HUGE increase in pedal pressure. There will be some chatter and there will be a harsher engagement.
Stage 3+:
This is a very serious clutch. It features a full face, Iron friction surface with a sprung 6 puck friction surface on the other side. If you're racing or making some serious torque, this is a good clutch for you. Not a great street clutch.
