I have a Ford manual rack, been sitting for about 6 years, will need rebuilt, has no boots, needs gasket for the small plate on it. I do have the hard to find joint that goes on the rack and the steering shaft. So 40.00 FIRM. Manual brake bracket that Master sits on, 20.00 FIRM

just to clarify to some, yes I have the knuckle that goes on the rack and joins the shaft. thats the hard part to find. Yes the rack seems to be still tight. 40.00 seems to be a good deal. otherwise away it goes, no big deal. thanks guys.

 

ok what it needs are the tie rod ends, i would do these anytime you replace a rack, new rubber boots, there are 2 on ebay right now for 5.00 each starting bid or buy it now for 17.00 each. Its a napa part. and grease on the teeth. Use rtv for the gasket if you want.

 

you have the piece that replaces the rag joint? the solid shaft eith u joints and it only needs grease, boots and tie rod ens.

no I do not have the solid shaft, I have the factory rag joint for manual steering. Mine actually came off a Mustang with manual steering from the factory.
