1987 T-Top Mustang GT
ATTENTION PLEASE:
I'm posting a ton of pictures. If you do not see 20+ pictures PLEASE HIT REFRESH on your browser. The server I host the pics on doesnt always show the pics right away. So like magic,.. after you refresh this page they will show.
Must sell this time. I am really sad to see her go. But I've been out of work for almost 2 months now and need the money.
1987 Mustang GT T-Top car.
Stock motor with approx 160k miles.
MSD ignition and Blaster coil
Off Road X-pipe - Flowmasters
Welded in Sub Frame Connectors
Brand new $1300 Tremec T5, King cobra clutch. Approx 7k miles on tranny.
Stock 2.73 rear gear ratio - Was automatic car.
3.73 available for $100
Brand new 5.0 Resto $200 T-Top headliner.
Brand new 5.0 Resto $80 sun visors.
New tires.
15x7 Enkie wheels
Brand new fog lights
White face gauges
140 mph gauge cluster
Pioneer CD/MP3 stereo with remote
Very clean interior
Known issues:
Gas gauge does not work.
AC does not work.
Power door lock actuators not working. (New doors have power windows and locks)
Could use a front end alignment.
Fixed all of the rust issues she had,.. new hatch etc,.. except for the doors. Will include a pair of rust free doors with the car. But I am not putting any more money into the car,. so I am not putting them on. Will be up to the buyer as what to do with them.
Mechanically she is sound and runs great. Drive anywhere. Wife used her as a daily driver for about 4 months. Fun car especially with T-tops off.
Asking price - $3500 obo.
Original T-top sleeves
Someone please give her a good home and do right by the car. There are not that many unmolested T-top cars left. The 87 - 88 T-top cars seem to be really hard to find. She needs some TLC and a good paint job. Other then that,. she is in great condition.

I was told by the previous owner that it has a wiring problem,.. that it had been charged shortly before we bought the car. I havent looked at it to see whats wrong with it. Now that she is for sale,.. I assume what ever it is will cost me out of pocket and I can not afford it right now.
This is what the car looked like when we first got her:
