going from a b16 tranny to an ls is pointless...keep the b16 tranny....longer gears aren't better for boost...shorter gears=faster acceleration....longer gears =slower acceleration....that means that using an ls tranny is gonna slow u down.If you don't believe me read up on it

MAN HIS CAR TOPS OUT AT 120 SOMETHING TOPS WITH THAT TRANNY. how are you going to say an ls tranny is point less..with the s1 tranny you are at 7200 rpm at 115 in fith gear.he will throw a rod in the b18a with out a ls tranny...and longer gears with the power to move it is what you want..not some short ass gears trying to make up for the hp your motor doesnt have.
