are the fenders black, or DVP???

 

Do you have a "bump" on your head? I think you think your fenders and headlights are made of gold.

 

Honestly don't know. Is there a way I can tell from looking? I bought these used from a guy who had a 2001 and was doing a jdm front end conversion. Mine was a white 2000.

No thanks for asking but I do have a "bump" in my wallet where these cost me an arm a leg. Would you ask a salvage yard if they had a "bump" on their head when they'd asked considerabley MORE for these same items and they wouldn't be in as good a shape? Much less if they even had them???

Please reference my previous post about what I have invested, trying to recoup that, how you'd probably do the same if you were in the situation. Thanks.

That's cool. I forgot the disclaimer (IMHO). I bought a 2001 hood, fenders, headlights and a dash for $350 from a local salvage yard. All in great condition. They had several 98+ integras with the same parts still on them. Maybe I just know where to get good deals and don't realize it. I'm just thinking if you want to sell them, you may want to take a little loss, IMHO. They are worth nothing sitting in the garage. If you want to buy my headlights and fenders, I'll sell them to you for $300, maybe you could resell them and make a little $.j/k
If you want to know where the deals are, I'll tell you. Goodluck with the sale, I would have bought this stuff days ago. Oh well.

 

They're definitely black. Didn't know what code dvp was. I'm used to a "p" being pearl not purple (i.e. the Subaru world).

 

Dana if you got that price for all those parts you got a great deal indeed. I've checked with other salvage yards and they want $300 for the fenders (damaged!) and $350 for the lights.

I understand the economics. The price has been going down as there's been no interest. It will probably continue to go down until someone determines that price is a good deal for them. Trust me it's a not a matter of taking a loss but a matter of how much of a loss I'll take. However I'm not going to take a big one on these. I'll just let them sit and put them up again after a while. Not like I have to sell them because I need the money.

Yeah you would have bought them days ago but at 33% less than I'm asking.
