ok, check this out guys...my brother convinced me into keeping the cams for now...i had the wrong vtec silenoid on my car (sohc one) and that might be why my vtec wasn't kicking in as hard as i would like....so after i rebuild my bottom end i am going to try these cams again...if its the same, then i will either trade for the toda's or
type-r's or maybe even the ctr's that someone pm'd me with...thanks to all that replied

for the obd1 vtec is the sameas sohc-dohc BUT DAM GOOD bump for nice cams i used those and ran a 13 with a b16 : o) i loved them

than for some reason i had an oil leak on both motors but when i switched them back to the correct motor, it got rid of the oil leak...i don't know

you have to make sure the oil plug on the head seals.thats most of ls/vtec's problems..i had yo pull my head back off cause of the same issue..i put some quick steel over the plug and fixed that.

cool cool...i don't think i had a leak there but can't be 100% sure since the vtec silenoid was leaking....so after i get the motor running again, i will have to check there and see if i get a leak rom there as well

man it took me 2 months to figure where my oil leak was.There is a very small gap in between the block and the head where the oil feed hole is sence ls do not have the oil passage.The oil was running down the back side of my block and looked just like it was comming from where the golden eagle ls/vtec sandwich was bolted.Well i bought the cheap 4an kit as well and just tried it to see and still had the same oil leaking in the same spot.I pulled the head and sure enof the oil was coming from the plug in the head.I put the golden eagle 6an kit back on and i dont leak a drop of oil.Everything turned out perfect.
