vega, i really got out to a bad start with you and i really wish i didnt because i could of gone to you and been happy. but thats besides the point yes he did tell me we were close to being maxxed out. i ask what percent the cycle was and to be honest i really dont remeber. but it was definatly a number i felt comfortable with. when 2 different tuners load the map and they show me 155%? whats wrong then? apearantly chromes duty cycle is off but how off is it then? i highly doubt its 50+% off. about the faulty wiring... NO FAULTY WIRING. there were no wiring issues with this car. wires started getting cut and spliced once he touched the car. even after that i had jason take HIS manufactured jumper harness out and inspect. perfect condition. then i go and talk to the wiring man himself NEAL SUTTON..... PERFECT CONDITION. this isnt a hack job 88 crx wire harness. this car has NO PROBLEMS except for john solero
Im just a third party trying to figure out what the heck is going on
I have never seen crome's duty cycle be off by 50%.
I have also never seen tuning cause an ecu to go bad.
What burnt up on the ecu ?

To be honest with you CJ, I don't know that John Solero is at fault.
I would like to see Neal's input on the cause of the ecu burning up.
I honestly feel the issue is your fault or whom ever wired up the car.
Furthermore, what did you do about your injector duty cycle ?
Did you upgrade your injectors & have the car re-tuned ?
How is it John Solero's fault that the injectors you were running were too small for the setup if this is the case.... ?

BTW Crome duty cycle isnt even close, considering the table it looks up isnt read right by crome. I have dataloggs from some of the top tuners using 255% duty cycle.. get this ITR H/I/E Skunk2 stage1-2? running 53PSI fuel pressure doesnt come out ot 155% with 240cc injectors

From an outsider know one can really say anything. Sounds like you should just give him the money and take the loss. End it there, and I also commend you for coming on here and speaking your words. I don't think there is really any reason to beat someone up over this, as this is not high school. I was ripped by Slow Boy Racing and as much as I tried there is nothing they will do to give me my money back.
I say do this like two adults and work it out with out anyone beating anyone up. Even $200 in not worth jail time. But I am still on the side of saying just give him his money back and the p28 and call it a day. That is not a big amount of money and everyone can just forget about it and move on. Maybe Cj can take down the sig so the new people don't see this.

well according to solero the duty cycle is off. and when i mention that it said 155% on 2 different tuners lap tops he told me not to worry about that. its incorrect. bull shit im not gonna worry about that. about what burnt on the ecu i dont know. i was told to use it as a door stop from now on cause its worthless. but why are we talking about this right now............. the car HAD hondata s200 in it. why would he take it upon himself to change it over to chrome with out the owners concent? its not right man. ive been wrong in the past about a few things. im not saying the ecu fried cause of the tune. something he did with the wiring fried the ecu. there was NEVER a problem with that car. car ran like a champ. took it to the track over rev'd it and bam. rebuilt the head with omni head package and sks2 cams. so thats where the need for a tune comes in. theres no need for a harness adjustment. if im wrong please tell me cause im no tuner. but at the same time..... im not a idiot. im not someone who he can get over on. vega if you want to call me to understand a little better please feel free to do so. 813 299 3801

I dont want to get too involved, I just want to make sure nobody is getting blamed for something that is not there fault as I have never seen an ecu go bad due to some one simply tuning a car.
What kind of wiring did John Solero do to the car ?
What was burnt on the ecu ? (Pics ??)
