Crank Pulley
OK, oil pump and #1 main bearing killer. That pulley has absolutely NO harmonic balance built into it. The harmonic vibration kills oil pump gears and #1 main bearings. SEEN IT FIRST HAND MORE THAN ONCE. I don't quote other poeples ideas or situations, I speak from years and years of first hand experience.

The misconceptions and myths behind crank pulleys and dampers
and you've had first hand experience on what cars? accords? i doubt it.
No, but I have taken a couple of engines with cut or lightened crank pulleys. They all had signs of the #1 main bearing being worn. The engine that I had looked at were stock. They didn't have enough power to kill the oil pump gear.
must've been installed wrong because ive never heard my friend complain when he installed his crank pulley on his '97 accord.
