I have a 94 ex one, lmk, im in cape coral/ft myers area 33990. If you don't mind me asking, whats the big deal with these converters? everyone is trying to buy them, can you sell them and get money or something?

yup they buy them from u and then go and take the metals out of them and sell them for 2 or 3 times more then they bought them for.. your better off just stripping it urself and making more cash...

to the sohc vtec its not a scam. Genius, How many times have you taken a converter apart and took the platinum out and cashed it in? That sounds freaking stupid. To joba356 my plan is to give you a decent price for your converter, the same you would probably get for scraping it and then I will try to make a little more money on it. Only on TR is trying to make an honest buck flamed. A scam is you having a $3000 part and me lowballing you because I'm a broke loser who sits on tr all day trying to find cheap parts for my pos.

Im making money because I sourced the part and I have the contact to sell it to. What is so dishonest about that. That is how a business works.... To make money.... why else would people have a business?

call the local scrap yard they give 90 for stock honda acura converters...if you don't wanna go through the trouble and u want someone to come get it as soon as you call them,....i'd sell it for 40-50....thats making money not a fuckin scam....good luck man

+1 you go through less trouble and waste no gas or time and only make 50%-60% what you could have made, but as stated above it's buisness if you want them to pick it up from you then yes you take a pay cut and some one else makes a few more bucks for doing the driving and hussling for you, damn you will always have haters, lol
