im looking to purchase a b16a complete short block i have $250 cash in hand ready to get this.
also looking to possibly trade a complete GSR head + $250 for a complete B16 motor. price is a little negotiable but dont hit me in the head please and nothing that needs to be rebuilt please.

i ve got a CTR shortblock... but thats 250 dolllar ammount wont cut it...

bump still need either a short block so i can make a complete motor or trade myGSR head plus cash for a complete b16.... let me know

u would have to give cash on top of your gsr head just for a b16 head , just a thought , b16 longblock can be had for around 750 to 1000 my riding lawnmower has more torque though , just buy an ls bottem and and get an entire recuild kit with ctr or itr pistons for 230 shipped and buy arp rod bolts for 35 and have all 4 rods resized after installing bolts and walla bad ass ls vtec with your gsr head , i have arp mains and gsr girdle in my ls vtec and stock rods with arp bolts and a ctr head and spin 9500 rpm all day with a great power band and as much torque as can be expected out of a built b series , i have a gsr and ctr bottem end and another ls on the garage floor and i went with the LS , just a thought though , need any more info i just finished building another ls vtec for another customer tonight soooo pm if u need anything

honestly i have one already, just didnt want to put that much time and money into it. b16 bottem end and head gasket i might have $350 total into it. instead of about $500 into an ls/vtec bottom end
ls/vtec to get the bottom end balanced is $150 p30 pistons put on the rods most likely another $50 GSR arp head studs $125 arp main studs $85 bearings $40-80 then i need to get i tuned timming belt and head gasket. what another $125? ... im aware i could build a ls/vtec for a good price i just refuse to build one without balanceing. the prices above arent including the parts i already have like the block, pistons, crank, rods,arp rod bolts. i could shave some costs and not balance, or gets head/main studs but i refuse to do that when it comes to an ls/vtec.
i know i would be happier with an ls/vtec i also have a build ls/v in my other hatch. this is just a motor i need to throw together for an ef hatch i have been putting together on my side yard that i need to sell soon
