what are the options for having a hood with this QSD EF kit? i have an SIR VIS carbon hood, would i need to "stack" the hinges?

 

i had a sir hood n had to stack it a inch not too bad but theres a guy on h-t who got his to close i think it depends on what mounts u use.

 

mine has the hasport mounts.

 

pending on which model mounts u have the newer ones is what i had & i had it spaced 1 inch. the older ones sat a lil lower but then ur runing closer oil pan to the road.so its a so so if your that picky were u hate the hood pop or if u want better oil pan clearnce to leave it up some.
