it was smoking pretty bad before we took it out. i am pretty sure the head gasket is shot but the smoke indicated oil not coolant and the most logical reason for that would be the rings.

so i am just stating the possibilities for all potential buyers: the motor may need rings and bearings, may need cylinders honed (advised in a rebuild anyways), may need the head shaved, may need head gasket (the motor will come with a brand new unopened complete head gasket kit).... for the money for a complete H22a1 long block with ALL accessories and a good H22a1 tranny and extras you cant beat it.
