Previous motor probably failed due to the butterfly valve screws being injested into the combustion chamber.

Does the new motor have lock tight on the butterfly valves?

What's the deal with the new motor, is it rebuilt, or pulled from another SER?

If rebuilt, who did the work?

I'm interested, but I want to know more.

It's a QR25DE, a motor that is scared of cats and butterflies and intermittently throw a piston out the side of the block just for fun. They fixed the oil problems at least with the reman'd engines that they put out and the ones made since 07 so no more oil burning and tossing pistons. Other then that its a decent car, I owned a 05 spec V, decent car.
