i need: (for my 06 wrx)
-6speed tranny w/dccd
-r180 diff
-sti clutch and flywheel
-6speed shifter linkage and knob
-starter
-driveshaft
-axles

i will give you my 300zx for these parts if the mileage is low enough on the parts

 

Pretty sure a starter isnt necessary for a 6MT swap into an 06 (I know its not need for an 02-05). You will, however, need a 6MT trans mount and master cylinder. Good luck with the swap.

 

thanks man im not familiar with the swap at all i was just going by what others told me.. will an 04-05 tranny package mount right up in my 06?

Can it be done? Yes, but you need an extensive list of parts. Take what you originally posted, what I added, and add rear hubs and Brembos to it. All said and done, youre looking at close to $6K probably. Then you have to install it. Search on NASIOC for parts lists, pros and cons of the swap, and tips on the install. Theres a wealth of good info there. Read up, and then make your decision.

But my advice would be to forget the 6MT. Go with a built PPG 5MT. It would probably come out cheaper for you.

 

ive looked through nasioc religiously and finding one isnt easy.. i wouldnt even know where to begin to find a used ppg 5speed i havent seen one anywhere
