WTB 2.2l Impreza motor or 2.5rs
WTB 2.2l Impreza motor or 2.5rs
Its a long shot but fuck it. I need a motor for my new 99 impreza or should I say my girls impreza. Its a 2.2l 1999. If i can get a cheap 2.5rs motor than ill put my motor in her car and keep the rs for me. If not i need a ej22 that will fit a 99 impreza. Cash in hand let me know
my friemd has a twin turbo 2.2L from a Liberty I believe. Complete setup just missing ecu. I will ask him how much he wants.

the liberty is an australian legacy and I believe it only came with the ej20 in both single (1st gen) and twin turbo (2nd and 3rd gen) configurations just like the JDM legacy.
i'm interested in what he's got, and might be interested in buying it.
and just to clarify, its not a firewall problem with the twin turbo motor, its a driver side turbo occupying the place of the brake booster/master cylinder on a LHD car. Haha. if you changed to a single turbo manifold setup you could use a twin turbo longblock in a USDM car without any problems.

is it a 2.2L or a twin turbo? a 2.2L turbo was the single turbo , single cam, USDM turbo legacy motor from the early 90's. the twin turbo was a twin cam ej20.
