The wheels are 4x100. I haven't seen the car in a while now, I think they're split 6 spokes, but don't hold me to it. I'll try to get some pix over the weekend. If you have any questions, just give Jeff a call.

you will need the rest of a 16v engine to go with that head

Pdub-

sorry for the delay dude. You do NOT need the whole 16v engine to put a 16v head on an ABA(2.slow).

A few things you would need to do...

1. Throttle body/ECU area- The TB's are different going from US 16v to ABA 8v's(which are even different depending on OBD1 or OBD2). You can go about it a few different ways a)completely rip out your OBD1/OBD2 management and put in CIS-Motronic/KE-Jetronic/Digi2 setup b)Source an ABF intake manifold/TB/fuel rail setup c) Fabricate an adapter to go from a US 16v(PL, 9A) TB outlet to a US 8v(ABA) outlet d) Forced induction or ITB's where you're better off doing stand-alone and custom fab. anyways

The only other real "problems" are making sure you're routing the coolant lines/hoses properly, and switching from a 16v timing belt/v-belt setup to the ABA serpentine belt setup. And of course you'd need to get a 16v header/manifold/downpipe.

I'm sure there are a few minor things as well such as coolant/oil temp sensors/sendors, but that would be determined by which management you'd choose to pursue.

I hope that clears things up a lil' bit, and if anyone has more specific info available, please share. I know there's a scirocco runnin' around here with an ABA/16v turbo setup, but I dunno if he's on here.

Thanks,
Nate
